Navy vets exposed to Agent Orange get new hope for benefits Peter Urban May 15, 2019 WASHINGTON – For the second time in as many years, the House overwhelmingly approved a bill that could make tens of thousands of Navy vets and their survivors eligible for benefits stemming from exposure to Agent Orange while serving in waters off Vietnam.

During the Vietnam War, 90,000 Navy vets served offshore and may have been exposed to Agent Orange. But they are not eligible for VA disability benefits for health problems they suffered as a result of that exposure..
